General rules and expectations:

  1. Have fun! The goal of a JRRC event is to have each and every driver want to comeback to the next event. If that also goes well enough, they should bring a friend. And so on, and so on.
  2. Cornermarshalling immidiately after your race or by your designee is required.
  3. Transponders are required to be scored.
  4. Please keep your pit area and the facilty clean.

On track ettiquite:

  1. Be good sports. No cussing, yelling or insulting others while on the driver’s stand.
  2. Be legal in all heats and mains: Pre-race tech inspection will be enforced for battery voltage, vehicle weight and ESC “Blinky” mode in appropriate classes.
  3. Let clearly faster cars go by as quickly and as cleanly as possible. Conversly, the passing driver needs to attempt to pass without forcing contact. This is one of the hardest aspects to manage in RC racing, clean passing.
  4. Incidents happen, drivers clearly at fault should hold for the other car/s involved to continue. Failure to do so may result in a stop and go penalty mid-race. If instructions are not followed then it could be a loss of a lap or position in the results. It is up to us to race how we want to be raced.
  5. Call-out wrecks in practice and warm-up laps. If you are stopped on the track notify all other drivers on the stand if the director does not.
  6. More to follow

The three amigos! lol

About us:

Finishline RC Raceway is a world famous on-road facility who recently hosted the 2024 IFMAR World Championships. It is managed by Ryan Doyal (left) along with owner David Mayhew. Exeter RC Speedway is owned and operated by Kim Melgar (right) and also managed by Chris ‘Slicc’ Barnett. Exeter is also one of the best RC facilities you will find with a similar surface, layout and arguably the most scenic view in North American RC racing.

Both tracks have many similaritires.

Jimmy Ray(center) “I was a long-time online sim racing league owner/admin/broadcaster and I hosted virtual racing events and series since 2003. Long before that, I raced 1/10th scale Off-Road RC all over California and some special events in other states, from 1988-1994. I am very pleased both of my passions are here together. Since my return to RC in June of 2023, I have been 10th scale asphalt racing at all the major events and local series I can run. Let’s go Racin’!”
